N2002 Replay Analyzer Released

  • NR2k2

Martin Granberg and Jonas Matton have done it again with their latest release of N2002 Replay Analyser. The newest NR telemetry software was released June 23rd, 2002.

According to the website "N2002 Replay Analyser is a program with which you can load up your NASCAR2002 (made by Papyrus) replays and analyse/compare driving lines and different kinds of 'telemetry' plus generate race and practice reports.".

This version of the software is not just a port of the previous version for Nascar 4. Among the useful telemetetry utilities are a traction circle, a speed report from various sectors of the track. Also included are many new features such as race, flag and mechanical reports.

One of the best features of N2002RA is the ghost lap creation. According to the official website: "While the driving line view in N2002RA tells a lot about driving lines this feature allows you to see the differences from within N2002. The laps you choose will be overlaid in one single replay file giving you sort of 'ghost' cars. Download the examples from Watkins Glen and/or from Atlanta and load it up in N2002 and have a look for yourself."

The software itself is shareware. The fully registered version contains more functionality when a registration key is added but the fee ($10) is small when compared to the massive advantage that this utility affords the end user. We here at SimAutoRacer.net have already registered the software as it will definately allow us to create even better coverage of sim racing.
